Description
Barolo DOCG Cerviano-Merli – 6 bottles
Vinification: Barolo Cerviano-Merli is produced with Nebbiolo grapes from our vineyard located in Novello. Handpicked grapes are selected, destemmed and crushed. Fermentation and maceration take place in steel tanks, at controlled temperature between 26°-28°C. It last 10 days. After the malolactic fermentation, the wine is aged for 18 months in big wooden barrels. Afterwards the wine complete its maturation in bottle.
Organoleptic characteristics: Garnet red colour with ruby red hues. The nose is intense with hints of spices, withered rose and undergrowth. The palate is dry and soft, balanced and powerful. The drinkability is velvety and well balanced with a very long finish.
Pairings: Red meats and medium to mature cheeses. Also excellent at the end of a meal.
Ideal serving temperature: 16° – 18°
