Description
Vinification: The Nebbiolo grapes for Barbaresco Rocche Massalupo come from a single vineyard selected for its particular exposure to the sun. The hand-picked grapes are selected, destemmed and crushed. Fermentation and maceration last about 10 days in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature between 28 and 30 °C. After malolactic fermentation, the wine is aged for 12 months in oak barrels. It then continues its ageing in bottles, where it will complete its maturation.
Organoleptic characteristics: Ruby red colour with garnet red shades. Intense bouquet with predominant hints of dried violets, ripe cherries and tobacco. Enveloping and elegant tannin, characteristic of the grape variety. Full and persistent taste.
Pairings: red meats, game and medium to mature cheeses.
Ideal serving temperature: 16° – 18°
